well my ram stock is 1333mhz. 1.5V and geil aluminum brushed something or other. It is more value ram of geil. they are 2gb dual. if i put it to the minimum when raising FSB it is something like 1100 or other (below 1333) is still goes blue screening. Does not matter what I do. I can set it to 1132 at 238 fsb but only on a multiplier of 12.5x raising causing an issue. Bearing in mind max FSB i got was 315 at multi of 5x.

when you say raise HT you mean the frequency, not the Voltage?

I always select below the 1333 frequency in bios, but no luck. BSOD kicks in.

Oh I am running stock fan (lol i know!) but it handles the temps so far very well. I am though going to get a third party or WC. Just dont want to waste money on that if it's my RAM. I can only afford to replace/change one of them for now.

lower the multiplyer on the cpu_nb & ht link so that they are below 2000 so that we can rule them out & keep the RAM below stock. Then try raising the FSB & see if you get a blue screen. If you do then you will need to raise the cpu voltage.

What cooling are you using & what are your current idle & load temperatures?

Edit: Big.Wayne beat me to it. My typing is to slow :)

Running stock fan but idle is like 28 and full load at 48

This seems to be the case at 3.5-3.7Ghz

pauliface, I should have said make sure the HWMonitor was showing the CPU running at full load so we can see how the temps are? . . . . using the stock HSF eh! :)

What mobo are you using?

I am using an Asus M4A78T-E. Full load on Core Temp is 48 and 50 when my room was heated nice and warm :D

Not sure if my mobo is c*ap

I don't know what TMPIN2 is measuring, but that's very high isn't it?
Also were those screenshots when idle or under load (i.e. running Prime)?
If it's running at 43C idle maybe it's overheating or something? Although then it'd probably just shut down wouldn't it?

Sorry idle is around 28. it reaches 48-50 at full load with prime

Agreed! But if there is that much more space I want it to make it, because there is no point in investing in anything unless I find out what is holding me back. Do you think it's just finding the EXACT settings, or could it be my mobo?

I am going to Quickly restart with your advice(s) and update you really soon. (while testing with prime)

So far I am about to test this setting running prime95, the pc so far has not crashed though lol (it probably will soon)
multi 14x
fsb 255
dram freq 1020
cpu/nb and HT link freq at 1785 (i could drop it to 1530, 1275 or 1020)
CpuV 1.4
cpu/nb V 1.1250

Set your Dram freq below 1333 & both HT link & cpu_nb below 2000 (with is default) then raise your fsb by 5 & see if it is stable or not.

If you are reaching temperatures of 50 under load then you dont really want to be pushing the cpu much further. The max safe temp for a 125w 1055T is 62C so you shouldnt really go any higher that 55C max under load.

It BSOD with these settings when testing on prime after 30 seconds.

okay. i will give it a shot... btw, if i put too much V's in that the temp is still safe lets say 1.45 could it be too much for the speed i am set? i hope that makes sense

nice link, thank you. I think that the cpunb improves when raised, but seems to make a bigger improvement on lower Ghz. oh, my cpunb has gone over 2000 as i increased the FSB. It seems stable :D

Would you think a WC is worth getting? or just a xigmatek dark knight should be enough?
