1080Ti not working, fans running/lights are on though

Any suggestions please?

I've tried 3 different PCI lanes & multiple cables and nothing works.

I even tried connecting a HDMI cable to the motherboard when the card is connected and still the monitor doesn't detect the PC.

Desperate for some help!

i trapped a cable from a fan when i put mine back in last night. Didn't quite hit the bottom of the pci-e slot so i got power, lights but no signal. Had to pull out, clean and shove it back in a few times before i got a snug fit for it.

Disable the on board graphics in the bios?

Resetting the CMOS worked.

I was worried the card or motherboard was broken!
