I'd like to have a crack at undervolting my Gigabyte AORUS 1080ti. However, I'm not exactly sure how the voltage curve works on MSI afterburner. I've googled and found a bunch of people talking about it, but no one actually explains it properly. I'd really appreciate either a link to a good guide or if someone could explain it.

How did you get on?

Sorry, I forgot to thank you for the guide. It's still a work in progress, my first attempts proved, ultimately, unstable. However, I'm closing in, most likely going to be similar to what you have.

Surprising what difference it makes. I can sustain clocks 1 or 2 steps below my max boost that I'd usually drop below due to temps, with much lower voltage and heat.

Yeah, realistically I'm aiming to sustain 1974 without dropping. I often can, but on some more demanding games it can drop to 1949.

Well here are some settings to keep your clock at 1974 Core with an overclock on the memory +400.

To stop dropping to 1949 you need to do a couple things.
Set Power Limit to 150%
Set Temp.Limit to 90c
Set the voltage curve .Under volt to 1.000mV while setting frequency to 2000MHZ to allow core frequency to drop 2 bins or 26MHZ after card warms up.Result will be 1974 core.
Set appropriate fan curve to keep temperatures below say around 70c.
