10900k temps and core to core delta

When you delid you are left with solder on the underside of the IHS and on the die itself.

liquid metal will dissolve the solder but what remains is a lot so best scrape off what you can first so it’s less applications of liquid metal, I got a cheap plastic razor and it’s great at removing almost all of it then a little bit liquid metal and then flitz polish to remove base plating and die is like a mirror.
 
rockitcool in the us do a direct die kit for gen 10 series costs about £73 quid steep I know but that's for a delid tool, direct die bracket and gasket as well as iridium cleaner all comes in a little zip case just ordered my self will post a pic up once kit arrives
 
Yes it does invalidate warranty but CPU either come DOA or working, they very very rarely fail in normal operation just abuse like mega high voltage and heat over time.
it does add a bit of cost but once you have the kit you can either delid more or sell it on.
