As much plastic as the girls? Maybe :D

lol - this is part of the campaign Zoo magazine are running.
The 2 guys have £10k a week and are given challenges, my sister is the one organising it.

You'd be in big problems energising a circuit that big, I used to have about 70 foot of track in my front room and it needed a couple of short cuts to average the power out over the track.

Wouldnt the electric current get weak near the end of the track due to needing to be spread out so far

The end? Its a loop, surely if anything the entire current wouldn't be high enough.

Scalextric rocks da' house!

I've got that new Digital thingy in my house with 6 car's which can all be used at the same time!
Brilliant fun, unless you fall off on the other side of the room! :(

Which make digital set have you got?

Default Scaletrix Sport Digital jobby!
Came with an Audi TT & a Porky Boxster. I've added a few extra change over bits, plus another 2 of the above car's.

The TT's are faster to pick up & play, but the Porky's are more lairy! :)
The new car's are sooo slow coming out, although it's very cool how you can 'chip' exisiting car's, tempted by an F1 garage!

Do you have a set?

Nah just have tried all the different make's digi sets. :) I did like the Scalextric set, was well done, though I hated the naff controllers. Though to be fair I hate all the controllers that come with sets. Also sorry to hear what cars you got. :p

Edit - Get yourself a Supra, brother just got one the other week, had to change the tyres for the club due to the silicon based tyres but other then that its stock. Not bad, not quick enough to keep with the proper GT cars but was a nice fun car, not the best brakes though.

They have brakes now

Nope they don't have separate brakes. When your controller is on the fully out position what it does it try to stop the motor turning. The more torquey motors are able to slow down the car quicker, kinda need that when you have a car that does 30+mph.

Though nothing compares to the eurocars. They are crazy, they kit about 60mph down the straight, produce downforce aswell. Will do a 110ft long track in about 3.5-4 seconds.
