10m HDMI cable that can do 4k 60hz?

Did you forget about your thread in graphic cards?

You'll be lucky to get 4K @ 30Hz at that distance - even half that distance is pushing it for 60Hz - I think there are 1-2 cables that were tested to just about manage 60Hz at 8m with some marginal stability issues (EDIT: Looks like 7.6m is the longest "certified" length that it should work).

EDIT: Amazon basics in my experience so far have all been fairly decent gauge wiring so probably the best bet you'll have of any.

I have 2 x 7.5m neet cables with a powered booster in the middle.

Didn't need to use an external psu for the booster as it takes power over the HDMI,think it's specced for 4k but mine generally carries 1080p signals.

I'm using a 10m without any issues. PC in bedroom to AVAmp in living room.

'KabelDirekt 10m HDMI Cable compatible with HDMI 2.0a/b, 2.0, 1.4a (Ultra HD, 4K, 3D, Full HD, 1080p, HDR, ARC, Highspeed with Ethernet) - PRO Series'. £20

If you want it to definitely work you need a cable rated as 'Premium High Speed' (4K 60 fps) and HDMI 2.

There are some 10 m premium high speed cables on ebay for £17-24 ish, and some for £60+ but you probably won't pay that. Be careful that it's 'premium high speed', not 'PREMIUM, high speed' etc. :p To be honest though I wouldn't buy any of them - they aren't likely to be properly tested.

Standard works up to 1080i60 (cat 1), High Speed up to 1080p60 (cat 2), Premium High Speed 4k60, and finally '48G'.

If that fails you'll need to join several cables with repeaters, or replace the link with something designed for distance, e.g. HDMI <-> CAT5 converters (HDMI over IP, expensive though).

I was asking for confirmation that you were running 4K @ 60Hz as you don't mention it just said it works (often when people say it works you subsequently find they are actually doing 1080p@60) and achieving that combination at that distance is not easy - if you read the reviews most say they can't get over 30Hz (didn't see any from a quick glance that specifically mentioned sucess at that combination and a lot that reported failure).

yet if you search for the word 30hz in all 216 reviews only two occurrences, hardly most.

Ah you are looking on Amazon - even there some saying stuff like "BUYER BERWARE…THIS CABLE CANNOT PASS 4k, 4:4:4 @ 60Hz signal", etc. though there are some that do claim they have 4K@60 working but more that say they don't - not all use the term 30Hz (most of the user reviews don't mention what refresh if 4K or don't mention resolution).

I know from experience 4K@60Hz is often not plug and play especially at nearly 2.5m beyond the distance the signal is expected to attenuate below stable in the ratified standards. It might work for you but far from a guarantee it will work for someone else.

EDIT: Just noticed on Amazon they aren't all reviews of the 10m - the ones that are saying it works mostly show 5m or lower length by their name, the ones saying it doesn't are 7.5+m.

I think you are misusing the terms 'some' and 'a lot more'.

Only in respect that I'm concentrating on the reviews that specifically mention success or failure at 4K@60Hz - I edited my post to make it a bit clearer what I was focusing on.

Is it one of these?

It does look very much like that but it's sat in the loft over my head so can't check to be sure.

I e-mailed neet recently asking if it was good for 4k as I was considering a 4k tv and they said the cables and booster would run 4k no problem at all and to be honest those cables have been in a while for me now and are still performing flawlessly.

It might not do 4K full colour at 60Hz - last time I checked the only booster that did that wasn't HDCP compatible and the one that was only did 4-2-0 colour at 60Hz.
