10p Android Apps

Some apps have VAT to pay, some don't. I'm not entirely surely why but I suspect it has to do with the location of the developer. The price shown in the Android market doesn't include VAT, unlike Apple's app store.

For example: Read It Later Pro was 10p, but ADW Launcher was 12p.

just an FYI, you might get a call from your bank's fraud department if you buy quite a few of these, then make a big purchase. Happened to me last night after buying my new phone.

to them the transactions looking like google testing the accounts, the girl i spoke to said they were very busy with the same thing the last couple of days.

i told her about the apps, she was going to download a load of them when she finished work, haha.

Also, what is with your sig Caffrey, the dissected middle part looks reflective and it's shade of blue changes depending on viewing angle for me with chrome and a 2407FPW (2006 revision)

It takes time to flow through. Shazam just turned to 10p for me in the last few mins.

Why does it say Need for Speed is Incompatible with my HTC Sensation when quite of few of the reviews are from Sensation owners?

This happened to me this morning.

Bought a few apps then tried to book some flights. Got the automated call and everything is sorted now.

I got Toki Tori and Space Physics, not much else caught my attention.
 
Prices will change soon. They show as 10p in a search.

Slyman there's nothing special in my sig, the disected part is a little lighter though.
 
The VAT thing seems quite strange. Buying on my GN somethings have VAT and others don't. I presume it's something to do with Tax law and the location of the developer?
