10TB hard drive

I have 2x 8TB WD Red at home in my HTPC/NAS box and the rebuild or re-synching time is loooooooooong, it took a whole day to resync after I reinstalled the OS. So personally I currently wouldn't get any larger disks and instead would prefer to add more disks instead. 10 TB is too big for 1 disk :)

Recently I've only just started getting under 400GB on my 5 year old WD Black that I use for all my movies/porn etc, it's surprising how fast you can use storage with box sets
I remember thinking that when the first 120gbyte drives appeared, and again when 1tbyte........

It all relative isn't it?

One day 10Tbyte will seem so small!
When UHD becomes mainstream then 4TB will become the new 1TB imo.
