managed to clock my i5 to 4.2ghz on the intel cpu cooler....

idle 42 across the board and load goes up to 73 when benching.

cant what till the new adapters are sent out so we can fit after market coolers i can see real potenital in these chips.

yeah well gets a tad hot when doing prime 95 3 mins in i got scared at 84C lol... its managed all the benchmarking software with out going over 72C

oh well at least i can play games on the stock cooler at 4.2ghz so we will see what happens when i get may cooler on there.

with the the cosmos s case just above the board and heat sink there is 3 x 120mm fans sucking the hot air from the heat sink up and out the top of the case.

but yes at the moment i only have the original intel cooler fan and 1 x 120mm fan above that as in the photo pushing air onto the heat sink itself.

i just cant what to see what happens when everyone gets there 1156 adapters we are gonna see some good results:D

just as a side not i did not use the oc geine for the overclock as that dose make the cpu run a lot hotter at 3.58ghz than my bios 4.2 ghz settings.

but to be honest i only changed the fsb in the bios everything else was left as standard/auto

im as amazed as everyone normally they are rubbish but for sum reason its pretty cool….

If I put my hand above the intel cooler you can feel the up draft of hot air going through the 3 120mm top exhaust fans. Maybe its just the setup of the cosmos s case being that theres quite a gap between mother board and the bolting plate on the case meaning that airs travelling over both side of the motherboard???

I don’t know but it seems to be looking :)
