Quite right too, up to 20% faster in occasional workloads, 20% less cores to do that work, 25% more power draw.
All wonderfully backward steps, in a world of shrinking technology, only Ryan Shrout could Shrout loud enough to make more power draw a good thing.

20% *fewer* cores

Although fewer faster cores can be better for tasks like gaming for instance seeing as a lot of software doesn't scale linearly across multiple cores.
