Would a single 120mm rad be enough for a CPU ?

It would be 'enough' but you may not see the typical temps and oc headroom usually associated with watercooling

It does depend on the rad though, if its say a Black ICE GTS-Lite then you would be looking at not all that much better performance then you would with a H100 or H80, however if its a SR1 or EK XTX or Monsta then performance would be increased dramatically.

True, it's also one of the few situations where push pull may be recommended to get the best results.
