Damn I've been reading the ins and outs of various models off SSD for a few hours now and I still cant make my mind up.

I was originally set on a Vertex 2E drive, but then I read about the 25nm performing a lot slower than the old 34nm drives.

The drive will be going into a Acer 3820t with a SATA2 controller.

Im half tempted to buy the vertex3, or other SATA3 drive, just to make sure I saturate the SATA interface, but if someone could recommend a good SATA2 drive that would be great.

Hey im wanting to get a 120gb ssd aswell, i heard a while back that those drives were having problems and corsair recalled those series of ssd's, have they fixed the problem then with this new batch? because I would be tempted by this or the Corsair force GT 120 gb one

ah seems I found the answer : http://forum.corsair.com/v3/showthread.php?t=95825 might want to keep this in mind Aftershock incase you have any problems with your drive

ahh nice review, im not sure either :/ will probs get the GT though, comes with a 3 year warranty and the 2.5" to 3.5" bracket aswell, no idea if the force 3 does awell tho :D

Just as a follow up, I'm very pleased with this drive.

Intallation was a breeze and it can with the latest firmware pre installed.

Getting 220meg/s sequential reads over SATA 2, even with compressed data.
