I'll be using this SSD to install Windows 7 64Bit/OS Partition only.

I've been focused on Crucial mainly, I've looked at the 128GB MX100 at £52 and 128GB M550 at £61. Anyone say which is probably best going for? considering the price/performance too..

it goes on and off sale almost every week.

if you need to buy now, 65 buys you 240GB m500, which is still better than any SSD in 120GB region.

I believe there is no way I'm going to be able to get a 256GB MX100/M550 Crucial for around the £65 mark, it won't happen. I think there was a site doing a Black Friday deal for MX100 256GB at £59.99 and it was finished/claimed within 3 minutes.

Out of the two 128GB's above, which would you go for? I won't be putting much on these anyway, just need it for it's performance really, I got x2 1TB Seagate HDD's for my everyday content.

You're right, I'm wrong, 240GB M500 purchased at £64.98. This is miles better than any other 128GB SSD like you said.

I had a look here http://ssd.userbenchmark.com/Search?searchTerm=brand:Crucial then I realised lol!

If only I could've got the MX100/M550 256GB (at around £65) I would've been really satisfied, but oh well, beats this 5 year old Hitachi drive I'm using at the moment lol!
