13/63 plate

Just when you think it's all gone quiet he is back again arguing that a 320bhp hot hatch is a credible alternative for a 2 litre diesel buyer. You cant make it up :D

I thought someone as pedantic as you would appreciate the critical difference of I/he, would and could ! :D

And sorry, I don't keep track of your posts and check up if you had replied....perhaps you do...:p

I love Raymond, if it's not Mac Mini's it's BMW's.

I am here to keep things interesting, I merely made a little off the wall, out of the box suggestions that does no harm whatsoever, especially he already bought the car. The fact that Fox keep biting is just amusing lol :p

I might have missed it, but what is wrong with the current car exactly? to say "forget that car, we'll spend £20k on another brand new car instead" seems a little extreme?

It's not reliable enough for both our work requirements and although actually quite a decent size is quite small for excursions which we do regularly. It's generally coming to the end of its life for anything but a run around or non-essential travel (52 plate, 65k miles). It doesn't have working air con (fix quote was expensive) nor cruise control which is a PITA considering all I do is motorway driving.

An 11 year old car with only 65k miles on it is end of life? best scrap my two then lol :D
So essentially you were gonna change soon anyway and this seemed as good a time as any :)
Hope that you can get something for your old car rather than just scrapping it, that always helps towards the cost of a new car :)

Correct. We'll definitely try and sell it, it does still run well but we just had to fix an engine sensor so with the amount of motorway miles we stick on it it's better off living a potter about life :p. It's been in my girlfriend's family since new so would definitely be a shame otherwise.

Another reason is it's not very professional looking when turning up to meetings and the like. And yes I know I've bought a Kia :p.

Picked her up this afternoon! Really nice to drive and be in, really happy :).
