Pretty sad really.

Much sadder given his age. In the USA its making headline news and they are all getting in a tizzy about it, saying unresponsible parents etc... Which is a load of nonsense obviously.. Kid had talent and if you are that fortunate to be skilled to be able to complete at national level with the hopes of one day competing at world level, then damn well take it.. At least he was following his dreams..

Anyway RIP...

RIP. To add, I don't think there is an issue with age here. Kids moto x at a v young age, a local guy to me was paralysed very early in his life, the sport was his love though so it's the risk you take

Colin edwards was his mentor (took him underhis wing back in 09) and found out he had died 20 mins before the start of the race hence his bad showing in the race he was very upset.

I really don't want to bump this, but Shoya Tomizawa died in today's Moto 2 race at Misano. He dropped the bike coming out of a corner and was run over by Alex de Angelis (okay) and Scott Redding (minor injuries, currently conscious in hospital).

The video is on the internet if you want to see it, but I must warn you - it's not pretty.

Exactly 17 years after Wayne Rainey too :(

Edit: Stupid ******* ******* me forgot to post condolences. RIP Tomizawa.
