As the title states i have a budget of around £1300 and i need to build 2 mid range gaming rigs.

They have to be Intel Socket 1155 with ivy 3570k the rest is all optional. Would also like to have Xfire for the future so 2 pci-e slots would be ideal.

I will be needing everything, case, optic, etc etc..

Ive priced up a lot of stuff on Ebay but i would prefer to buy from here for the superb customer support so if it means spending the full 1300 on here so be it, although it would be great to get them as cheap as poss.

Here are the specs i have gone for can anyone do better.

2x 3570k £375.98
2x HIS 7850 IceQ X 279.99
2x Asus P8Z77 V LX2 £165.98
2x 1tb Toshiba HDD £107.98
OcUK Battle 650W Dual Rail High Efficiency Modular '80 Plus' Power £101.98
2x Alpenföhn Brocken CPU Cooler £65.98
2x BitFenix Merc Beta Gaming Case £65.98
2x Asus Xonar DGX 5.1 PCI-Express Sound Card with built in Headphone Amp £49.96
2x OcUK 24x DVD±RW SATA ReWriter (Black) - OEM £37.96

Total £1251.79

Edit: forgot RAM dur... help :)

You don't want to use the bay of ee's for hardware, you never know what you're buying. I'll edit this with a spec.

Edit: You want a £200 CPU in a £650 build? That's not wise...

2 x OcUK 24x DVD±RW SATA ReWriter (Black) - OEM £18.98 (£37.96)
Total : £1,346.26 (includes shipping : £22.20).

Used the Gigabyte board as you get UK RMA & it's the best budget board around, Thermalright cooler will be perfect for this, PSU is the best on the market, they are made by Seasonic.

Don't need a soundcard, the onboard these days is amazing quality.

750w to be on the safe side, will take a look.

Brilliant thank you i will stick with most of them and try lowering the cost of the psu if i could shave off £80 i can afford a small 60GB ssd for the os :)

Yes i have 3 keys for windows 7 ult and also 2 keys for the standard windows 8 not sure which to use.

I have been given £1600 to build them which includes my fee of £300 so i want to give them the best possible value and ive 3 more orders waiting of which after i will have made enough to build my dream machine budget for that will be £2700 but monitors will be needed :)

Thanks guys really appreciate the help. Hats off to ya

Don`t forget my 10% consultancy fee. :D

Personally I would get the Gigabyte, UK RMA service and if its the one in the spec above it offers dual GPU'S @ 8x.

msi dnt have a uk rma? also if i bought from here 2 year warranty so wud it not matter where the rma was? 8x is fine for xfire or sli minimal gains

Is the only difference between the boards the rma service i see te msi has better cooling does that mean it has a better power phase etc?

Ive now been told xfire or sli will not be used as they prefer single gpu use

So what other chipset would be ideal or MB with only 1 pcie slot still in the socket 1155?

I saw some b75 chipsets ?

Would a 550w quality psu be enough to push a 4.5 o.c small o.c on gpu ?

Something like the antec neo 620w modular or the antec 520w high currant gamer psu something along those lines

I know with my last setup 4.9ghz 2600k gtx680 1245/1750 2x ssd 2x 1tb i was only pulling 467w while benching. Maybe the 620w wud be perfect?
