Hi all,
Ive tried to bump an older thread for this but failed.
Basically, I've been hankering over the 1 series since god knows when. I know the LCI version of the 5 door came in during 2007.
Is there anything physically different about the two? I know that the dynamics stuff came in during that change, and general build quality improved (going by what Fox tells us), but is there any body work changes? Ive been looking at pics on autotrader but can't seem to spot anything when it comes to M Sport trim levels.
I had a gander on Honest John to see what they said was different, and they mentioned a change to the bump (not sure if front or back), but I can't spot it.
On the second hand market, the pre LCI ones look to be coming up at 2~3k cheaper, however that might be down to millage being that post LCI are obviously newer.
Is it really worth getting an LCI model over the older one, apart from the savings made when it comes to tax??
