Just watching the Hardware Unboxed review. Ouch to anyone on DDR4 who is gaming! Seems to leave a fair chunk of performance on the table, negates the advantage of having cheaper DDR4 motherboards?

Well, I think I will be going AM5, I have a 12900k atm and an Asus Extreme MB so not exactly an easy choice but tbh it just seems like they have O/Ced to the max.

I doubt its that bad he's running 3600 14-14-14 CR2 Most prob Gear 2 it was Gear 2 for his benchmarks on 12th gen

Properly setup ddr4 still matches or beats 6400 on 12900k in 90% of games cant see why it wouldnt on 13900K

Im Going to run this when my 13900K Comes
