1440p monitor PS5

I posted this in the owners thread but perhaps that's the wrong place.

I see that the PS5 does not natively support 1440p.

My monitor is the one in my sig: Dell S2716DG

Is there some sort of converter I can buy that will sit between the PS5 and my monitor and allow the PS5 to render at 4k but display at 1440p on my monitor?

Even if they do patch it in the monitor only supports HDMI 1.4 and DisplayPort 1.2.

Reckon that will be OK?

HDMI 1.4 supports 1440p60. You won't be getting 1440p120 or HDR but then I doubt the monitor has that if it doesn't have HDMI 2.0a/b

It's a 144hz monitor though over DP currently.

Does the PS5 support DP?
