Just got a new 1440p monitor and everything is so small compared to 1080p, now it doesn't really bother me since I have good vision, but just wonderinf if others leave it as it is, or scale stuff to make everything bigger & easier to read?

What size display? I've no problems with 2560x1440 on a ~28" monitor - takes a little to get used to it over 1080p but not needed scaling. 4K on that kind of size monitor another story :s

There is the odd game I've enabled 125% UI scaling ingame but most games I've not needed to.

Got my first 27" 2560x1440 screen 7 years ago after upgrading from a 24" 1920x1200 and didn't use any scaling at all until a year or so back. I now use increased UI scaling in some games but that's more to do with getting old and my vision going.

Some websites I scale to 110%, everything else is default. These forums scale really badly in Firefox, not sure why. It's like it stretches twice as much vertically as horizontally and looks poo.

125% scaling with 25" 1440p. I only browse the web and game on PC so enjoy the bigger layout.

Don't think I would scale if I had a 27" monitor though.

34" I have to scale the text its too small to read comfortably. Icons are scaled. Luckily that easy to do in Windows.

Some programs can't be scaled. In TES5edit for example text is miniscule its almost unreadable. The developer doesn't have a 1440p monitor though so sees no necessity to change anything.

I have an Acer Pred 27" too. No scaling, loving it.

Loving everything about my 27inch predator, but the only thing that bothers me on light backgrounds is visible very faint vertical grey/black lines that show up depending which angle you look at it, they seem to be all along the monitor, but only certain parts are visible depending on your viewing angle, its not a massive problem, but it stands out enough to notice it, problem with TN Film panel? should I send for a replacement & see if its better or?
