144hz - 1440p Gaming

For me personally when I was looking into replacing my 980Ti I didn't think the 2070 had enough horsepower to run 1440P/max details, so opted for the 2080. So far I've been very happy with it, there's a noticeably speed bump over my previous card and a good increase in image quality, with the 980Ti I was also gaming on a 1080P monitor.

The 2070 will do fine for most games at 1440p 60hz at 144hz your pushing it tho
