Hey Guys,

Okay I have a Macbook Pro 2009 which is on its way out, so I am looking to change and seeing the new Macbook Pro seems to be quite a tech drop behind I don't want to spend my 2k limit of my company's allowance on it...

So I am looking to switch back to the world of Windows.

Any news on the P35X V3-CF4? or any other 15" laptop? I am not keep to go bigger due to size on the move etc.

Any chance you can write a mini review about the P35X? Would love to know what its like and how it is to use on a day to day basis!
 
Got the laptop today!

This thing is thinner than my MacBook 2010 lol.

Just starting the driver updates ugh. Miss the OS X for that ha

I'd be interested in what you think aswell. How is the battery life? I've heard its extremely powerful but the battery isnt great?

I was thinking about the Aorus X7 but I'm not too sure :s As it has better battery but the gpu isnt as powerful.

I'm really interested in the quality of the screen, keyboard and trackpad as well as how hot it gets and how noisy the fans are!

It has an awesome spec tho!
 
Okay I have been getting my head around this thing now, to be honest its not the machine but more the Windows 8!! Moving from a MAC to this is abit going backwards in terms of ease lol.

Mainly finally have figured out scalling windows on a 3k Screen, so far though this thing is a beast, normal use you can hear a whisper of a fan, when pushed you can hear them but its as thing as a MacBook Pro so you are going to hear air being pushed through the vents so expected.

Ill post more information and a full report after a week or 2 of use with pictures etc.

However anyone who has questions on this one please do ask!

I'm on the edge of purchasing this :P so I would love you to answer some questions. As you were looking for a gaming laptop, could you tell me how long the battery lasts while playing a decent game? Just next time you play a game maybe unplug it from 100% and see how long till you get a warning or something like that, I've read all the reviews but nothing seals it more then a genuine fellow OCUK member giving some feedback haha.

Also you said the fans were pretty quite and could hear them under load but how loud when running an intensive game or program. Is it uncomfortably loud or still pretty quite?

Sorry for all the questions, wanna be sure.
