Hello,

So basically I have a 80GB for my OS + programs and a 160GB for files

I recently upgraded my interent so in the past month ive downloaded just over 100gb... which has pretty much filled my 160gb

I have a budget of £150

I'm wondering if I should buy one single Samsung F1 750gb and be done with it... or would it be better to buy a 74gb raptor (for xp)aswell as that 500gb for files

or even two of those drives... brilliant price (not sure if i have enough power connectors for another 3 HD's though, although I could ditch the 80gb

Sorta made my own mind up while writing this, but does anything think that a samsung spinpoint f1 (or one of those hitachi deskstar drives) would be better to do?

Please help, if not for me... for the sig

quick bumpage as I'd like to know what kinda noise the F1 750gb gives out, i know samsung are pretty quiet anyway? Whats the performance of the big F1 like compared to say 2x 300-500 drives?

Cheers!!

the F1 Series consumes 13-16% less power and provides up to 20% faster performance.
