£1500 +/-£100 gaming tower only.

I'm a novice when it comes to PC. A friend directed me to here for help.

I'm looking to purchase a gaming PC for the price in the title. I have something in mind

I would like to beagle to upgrade components in future. Any help would be appreciated.

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £1,513.47 (includes shipping: £14.70)

ocuk should be able to build it for same price as above (£50-80 build charge), but features i7 6 core 12 threads over the i5 6 cores/threads you've linked.

though AMD Ryzen would be the better costing system, sure someone will post up a version or two :)

@Journey has proved the above , gtx 1080ti is an animal of a card

if you need a monitor .... just swap the 1080ti for vega 64 Windforce and damn good screen (MSI 1440P 144Hz Freesync and should be on the same price target as above

Thanks for the support guy.

I have a budget set aside for a screen, mouse and keyboard. Is there any small adjustments that can be made to squeeze the full 15/1600 out of the systems above that will improve it. I will need an operating system. Excluding building cost.

Thanks again.

What's your monitor budget, that's key .
Could spec a powerful Nvidia GPU , but if you can't afford the £600+ screen to run it to it's full potential, it's money wasted etc

Currently undefined but possibly be around £500. my plan is to upgrade to better equipment later. As I would like the necessaries just now.

Could swap out Vega for gtx 1070ti but G-sync screens are very expensive, looking at £600 ... Freesync version is about £400 .

So £250-450 for 1440p 144hz Freesync screen :)

Or use Journey's one above, ryzen + gtx 1080ti but up the CPU to Ryzen 2700X
