No need for windows OS or keyboard or monitor. Will be used for a lot of gaming so a high end graphics card would be ideal...780ti?

Needs :

SSD
Graphics card
6 core cpu or a good high end quadcore
psu
blu ray drive (optional)
motherboard with option for xfire/SLI
RAM
Cooler
Case

Are we able to get that within the 1500 budget?

nps, sort of creepy we picked the same gpu/mobo (almost)/ram? :p those bitfenix braided cables will look great also, i didn't add any because of budget concerns

ps: check out the Corsair 540 builds in the project logs section to get some idea how they look

That looks mighty familiar to a spec i did yesterday, as i remeber checking if the H110 would fit in top.. :)

I'd change the GPU for this one. Less money, just as good cooler and not RED! RED and GREEN don't go together.

No, the Hydro wont fit in that case(350D).

It does:

If your not bothered spending that type of cash on a gpu just to have the fastest card on the planet currently then go with the 780ti builds being posted here, if however your a bit more shrewd and would either like to save a bit of cash or plow it elsewhere into the build, go for a non ref 290x, its almost as fast as the 780ti out of the box, so close you wont even notice the difference imho.

you can either pocket the dosh or plow it elsewhere into the build

I went over budget :( but I have gone crossfire and 2x these R9 280X are crazy fast :p, The only I can think that I personally would do is make a plate to cover the hot swap HDD bays as their ugly (still leaving a gap for some airflow) and find these RAM kits elsewhere:

Corsair Vengeance Pro Silver 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-17000C9 2133MHz
Corsair Vengeance Pro Blue 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-17000C9 2133MHz

I have used the RAM in the spec as a place holder :)
