1500 frames per second

I've just bought a HD5970 and installed it.

My favourite game is 'trials 2'.

I now get 1500 frames per second (top right)!!

Yours screeenshot of the game looks totally crap....You most have it set to the lowest settings possible...

i agree.

i've just tryed it at the lowest settings with my 5850 and i get 1958fps at 1000mhz but the fps drops to ~ 1450

OK, turned the graphics detail down (before it certainly wasnt at the lowest possible level).

It flickers around the 2200 frames per second level ...

Why are you playing it at such low settings? I really don't understand why you'd bother. Especially seeing as you're pulling such high FPS with it.

Have you done it for bragging rights thinking no-one would notice that you'd set it to low?

It's clearly because 2000 fps is better than 60

I simply posted because I thought it was unbelievable that a relatively current game could reach such extrodinary frame rates .. and I'd never seen such figures in my time gaming.

I think I had around 4,400 fps in Clear Sky in DX10. Didn't last long though, loaded my last save game and it only dropped by about 4,250 + frames.

2300 FPS on max settings would be impressive.
