£1500 to spend on lenses

The 70-200 is big, bigger than I expected - especially with the hood on! Not sure how I'd feel walking about with it, might feel a bit of a plonker. Is there a smaller hood that can be used due to the 1.6x crop factor?

If anything, the 1.6x crop factor would require a bigger hood, not a smaller one as less of the lens is used. Thus a hood that causes slight vignetting could be used.

With those lenses a battery grip may be a wise investment just to balance the wieght of the lens if nothing else, that's my experience with similar kit

how much is kerso asking for the 70-200? (inc delivery)

Kerso was asking £1050 + £20 delivery, considering a high street shop wants £1450 I thought it was a good deal!

@Col_M: Already being eyeing one up. I'm nuked for money now though - maybe in a month or two.

I'm off to Radio Shack to get some bits to make a Canon remote now, at least I can save a few quid there.
