£1500 to splash

I'd like to spend £1000 to £1500 on a new PC of which must adhered to the below criteria:
- Multi core (perhaps quad Q6600 to over clock to 3ghz)
- Gaming & multimedia
- No monitor as I already have a 22 inch Asus
- Least 4gig Ram
- 2 hard drives for raid speed
- DX 10 compatible gfx card
- Vista Home premium 64 bit
- All hardware must have quality drivers..I.e Sound card must have good drivers for Xp so my games/music/video file will play fine.
- I don't think I need 5.1 speakers so quality 2.1 speakers wil be fine.

If I were you I'd wait another month or so, first of all because there's some very nice and cheap corsair ram coming out in a week as well as the new yorkfield intel processors. It also lets you see if the new nvidia cards are as bad / expensive as everyone expects them to be because they're probably coming out very late march iirc

thats what I plan...wait a month or two...
