16K on 05 with a single card !

Sorry D.P who are you quoting & why?
Some guy named afireinside. Who is he?
One guys opinion does not make a factual statement.
So if i posted "sure youll get 22K easy on crossfire X1900XT" would you qoute me as if it was fact?
Always trying to find a negative for the ATI cards arent you?

DanMc07 only said "imagine what he would get with 2 of those babies". He didnt quote a score did he? I dare say in crossfire it would be a far higher score than that posted, so yeah id like to see two X1900XT cards in crossfire under Liqiud nitrogen too.

i doubt you'd be able to get 2 crossfires clocked up like that using LN2, as theres no room for the tubing etc. i may be wrong but it would seem a tight push

RD480 is slow as hell though ;)

Whilst the Master Cards are indeed clocked slower than hte standard XTX, I'm not sure how well they clock, so can't really comment on that.

I think you guys are going a bit over the top with the, "OMG FAN BOI LOL" comments now - I don't see any anti-ATi slander in his post.

Yeah, it's impressive, but whoop-de-doo - I've got a bit bored of seeing nothing but over-blown benchmark scores now-a-day, especially when they don't stand for a comparison in power. As is commonly said, "You can't play 3D mark" and it really is true.

Does he state if the card artifacts a lot, or if it's stable enough for continuous use?

Thank you.

1) new ATI motherboard out very soon.... im sure crossfire in those will be fast as hell ;)
2) Its LN2.... of course its not stable for continous use!
3) Some people like to just push their hardware to the limits... in this case benchmarks are perfect for showing just who has pushed a particular item to the limits.

So er yeah.... to answer D.Ps sceptical quote..... just wait for the proper crossfire platform to be released - just appreicate the score for what it is.... bloody good.

stupid lol hardly practical is it "oooo my e-penis is bigger then ures cos i can score more 3d marks" its ridiculous and pointless...

Someones already got the new Asus CF board with the RD580 chipset, check out the mobo section. ;)

Load of crap, soon as he loads a game it would lock up, artifact, blow the hell up after about 2 secs, so what ******* use is that, apart from to say 'LOOK AT THE SIZE OF MY KNOB'. :D

Its not THAT high of a score, considering its only 4k higher than my system. Its quite incredible to think that in 6 to 9 months you will be able to buy proper components that can hit the level of current super-chilled components. Its just another reminder at how fast the speed of hardware advances.
