17" Laptop with good screen/keyboard/pad - Not gaming

Hey there, well my mum and sister both want new laptops. The budget is very flexible as long as the price is justified.

Neither of them play games so the most important features are the screen with a nice to use keyboard and mouse pad. 17" would be ideal as the laptops won't be moving about and a bigger screen would be more useful.

What would you suggest? I currently use a samsung one but the wifi is awful and the general build quality is very poor. The acer aspire V3 sounds like it's lacking too.

What is your budget ?

The budget is pretty flexible, I would find it hard to justify spending more than £700 for a laptop that isn't used for gaming though. Obviously cheaper than that would be ideal, particularly for my mum.
