Thats me. And you are wrong about the Queens building, I have a good view of the road in front of it from my lab station. Good for testing my final year project which started off with motion detection for a camera.

Well, the electronics dept is based in the MVB, so I have to go there quite a bit, and it is very nice. But most of the stuff I work on is based in Queens.
Do most of you know each other?

Nope, I know 5 people at uni here who regularly use ocuk. I was tempted to go up to the guy and simultaneously yell pwnt whilst doing "=/" and "\o/" but I wasn't sure he was a regular

OK it really is a small world, although shocker ppl from ECS are on OcUK.
I was in ECS but saw the error of my ways and changed to maths, I do miss Zepler though. I was going to ask if there were any sotonites about.

at a guess ITO, they seem to be the only ppl who think getting out is bad as ITO is by far the nicest course ECS do, not saying it's easy just nicer than comp sci and elec eng are like being brutalised by a large grisly bear. Basically I sucked at elec so was a bit of a waste of my time.

Totally off-topic, well sort of anyway. When I was last in the land of the Purple Shirted Wallies I noticed that three PC's were showing the OcUK fora. I didn't have the balls to ask who'd done it though as then they'd know that I was in that particular hell-hole, albeit with a mate and not because I wanted to be.

My bet would be on dmpoole from what he has said before (I think it was him, apologies if not) about going upto random customers and telling them here was cheaper

It got repainted a couple of years ago, and the labs have been upgraded in the past 5 years or so I think. I have been here since 04 and I don't really remember any major work happening in that time besides the repainting for when the queen visited.
