1800x Pins bent.

Don't bend anything back at all.

If it doesn't work or you make it worse you can get blamed for fiddling with the pins.

Report to OCUK and ask for an undamaged one.

Stuff happens, don't risk damaging it or your waranty by trying to repair something that ought to be perfect out of the box.

Hi guys, after a month of eagerly awaiting, today my cpu and motherboard turns up and cpu has bent pins :(. I Picked the cpu out of the packaging and straight away my attention was drawn to two pins every so slightly knocked over. Will cpu be ok? I was going to see if they are important but not sure if there is a pinout diagram somewhere. The two pins are on either side of the arrow so the last two on the corner edge. I managed to carefully straighten them but I cant power on pc yet till I dig out a compatible back-plate for the cooler. One of the pins felt a little flaky :(. damn typical that this had to happen after waiting so long, will ocuk send a new one out so I can do a straight swap if it works? Not sure I want to keep it now :S.

RMA back to the retailer.

Hey there

I have only ever seen bent pins on a CPU in all my years when its been caused by CID.

Did you purchase it from us? If so can I take your order and I will do my best to help you.

Cheers

Bailey
