here is my stock voltage overclock

105%+ overclock

the potential of this chip is outrageous


this was done on an MSI 790FX-GD70 using the stock bios

i used a titan fenrir with a delta fan on it

it was stable

this was achieved in around an hour after work with Yewen's assistance
 
Christ - 105% overclock at stock voltages!

Looking forward to seeing what it eventually maxes out at with tweaking - what's are you hoping for?

when i can get it on good water - hopefully add another 1000MHz

i dont have access to anything better
will have to see if i can borrow a SS
 
will post up detailed results when i have the bits i need to get a good result on this

from how it has reacted in my initial hour with it - i can see anything above 4.5 needing water

anthing above 5 will need ss realistically
[this is all assumptions based on how it reacts to voltage increases and my experience with the 955]
