Not sleeping for 3 days is a touch extreme, but it's better than him dressing like an orc and sitting outside a shop for 3 days waiting for the next WOW release :p.

I've quite enjoyed reading the hype and seeing people arguing over unknown facts.

I'm not even getting one and I'm looking forward to see what these cards are like + Hopefully Price drops on the 48xx Series :D.

When I was in my late teens I could do a few nights without sleep no problem at all, but these days I can't cope without my sleep, even after one night I get that brain dead feeling..

I certainly wouldn't be staying awake just so that I could purchase something on the release date!!!

I've been to the gym at the end of a second day of sleep deprivation and lifted heavier and worked more than I had the time before :p

My brain functions only suffer when I'm about to crash though.
 
It is clear they have stock in good quantity guys don't worry. The hyp is in ATI favour though.

Expect if an october date is being bounced around that the october date is the launch for the X2 card.

So 5850/5870 1 GB available from OCuk tomorrow. You know they are usually first on launch day in the UK. 2Gb cards probably not available. X2 definitely not available until october.

So get your credit cards warmed up :-) 5870 will beat a GTX285 you can be sure of it. Makes it the fastest single chip card on the market.

There will be limited supply. Your overclock may fail on the buy page. You may reboot in time.

But you may not.

If you don't you will only be able to read about the results and awe at the pictures others are posting. A single tear will roll down your cheek. :(

Your PC will then be destroyed with a sledgehammer for failing you at the wrong time.

Your insurance won't cover it.

Your gaming PC will never work again.

All for those 200 MHZ.

Or soon after recieving his new card Virus2k runs up the stairs in a fit of excitement only to trip over and crush his new card. :D

i upgraded my internet from 4meg to 8meg yesterday to help with the webpage loadout...
