Little Big Planet is indeed the most girlfriend friendly game on the PS3, it's what got my girlfriend into gaming, shes just completed Uncharted 2 so i get to have my PS3 back \o/
 
I had to buy the gf a ps3 slim just so I could stop her using my 60gig for LBP every time she came over lol. She needed her "Fix"

She's looking forward to the new Final Fantasy and playing Uncharted 2, I think she had an ulterior motive but I think I can forgive her for that :p

She's a gamer and she lives with me so the PS3 will be staying put, although I may get booted off the TV :( :p

Definitely, going to get BlazBlue to play with the dojo lot online, got stardust HD for coop (more coop suggestions would be great) and will be looking to play the decent exclusives online.

Burn Zombie Burn is worth a punt, especially as it is £3.19 atm :) Does have co-op but I haven't tried it and I don't think it's online :(
 
Am I doing something wrong? I get sound in all games bar the GT5 Time Trial demo, and I have my sound settings on DTS and Dolby Digital which is compatible with my logitech Z5500's as far as I'm aware.
 
Interesting, i use Z5500s and can hear sound in the GT5 demo fine. What boxes did you tick when you enabled optical out? I just tick the top set (up until the box ticked by default) then leave the ones below that unticked.
 
have a look at God of War collection and Demon souls import, also i hear King of Fighters has just been released in UK :D.
