181.20 driver for Nvidia GF

Anyway i'm using the 185.20 BETA's. They have improved performance slightly over the 181.20's. They also have a funky new feature in the NV control panel called Ambient Occlusion. It only works with a handful of games for now, and you generally get a big performance hit.
 
I used 2 x XFX Nvidia GF9600GT XXX and enabled as SLi - so these driver add up new features:

How do you get on with the 185.20? when I looked at them there was some performance issues and incomplete features "under the bonnet" due to being a rushed out beta to test a couple of things and not worth using for day to day.
 
These cause Fallout 3 to CTD on Vista. Going to have to roll back to the 180.48 drivers I think. Everything else seems to work fine though.

the 185.20s do not allow me to run farcry 2 in 1920*1080 so i binned them,they only went upto 1680...

the 185.20s do not allow me to run farcry 2 in 1920*1080 so i binned them,they only went upto 1680...

i never use nvidia official drivers i always use the "tweaked drivers" from www.tweakforce.com...have been since 2005 but there site is down so i cant get there drivers

They seem to work ok for me, tried many many games with them. Performance is basically the same as the 181's but i get a little higher score in 3Dmark Vantage.

They also have 32xAA option :cool: you need a dual GPU card or SLI for it to be available though. I can run some older Source games and Painkiller with 32xAA + 16xAF @ 2560x1600 on the 295, the image quality is very impressive.

Yeah that's a temporary fix for now. Looks like the profile for it is somehow not working properly (had trouble using AA and AF on CP too.). I also had a mess about with falloutprefs but only fixed the problem for a few minutes max, then crashed again.
