182 Trophy 04 2.5k?

I currently have a mk4 golf gti 2000 and although it runs fine I could ideally use something a little faster and a little better mpg.

For a trophy that seems very reasonable and in good condition but I dont know much about them or I would even consider saving more money and get a better hatchback?

To be honest if you're looking to spend £2.5k on a clio 182, you're not going to get a trophy. Minimum £4k for one that is worth having. So best just to look out for standard 172/182.

As noted above the cliosport forum is worth signing up to and becoming a member so that you can view the classified section. They sell pretty cheaply on there too in comparison to Autotrader, pistonheads, etc.

Traders section also has a couple of dealers that always have good quality clios in stock, but you will obviously pay a bit more for them.

Well, that probably was the only part of that ad that was true, they are pretty nippy cars.

I don't think a lot of people realise how nippy they are they just think they are a slightly quicker Clio but they have a power to weight ratio that embarrasses a lot of newer big hot hatches.

Exactly, its a small car that weighs only a touch over a ton with 182bhp, recipe for fun that.

I went from a Megane 250 to a Clio 182 and I was pleasantly surprised how quick they are. Just a shame I have to get rid of it.

Main thing with these really isn't the POWAH but how they can carry decent speed through the twisties, and how the lightweight helps under braking.

Also he has reworded it so it suggests 200 but doesnt state it.

Also the only thing poor is that he called it metallic black. when it should be Black Gold
