With direct connection to the superhub:

Hub in modem mode connected to the Billion 7800n EWAN port:

Edit: Messed up the image but it's dropped to 34Mb/4.8Mb :(

Any ideas why?

Did this happen as soon as you started using the Billion 7800N? If it did, then I'm slightly stumped, if not, then it may just be VM as the upload speed's almost the same as the previous speed test results.

Yes, immediately, I can swap between the 2 and instantly get the 50/34Mb speeds depending on my setup.

Have you tried upgrading the firmware on the Billion 7800n? If it's already the latest, try downgrading it and seeing if that works.

Hmm, have you tried using a different cable to connect your computer to the Billion 7800N? I'm presuming your setup's like this:

SuperHub in Modem Mode ---> Billion 7800n ---> Computer

(---> = Ethernet cable)

I have tried 3 cables, all of which register at gigabit on my billion 7800n, and all of which deliver 50Mb when connected directly to my superhub from my PC.

Superhub test :
Superhub (modem mode, port 1) -> (gigabit port) PC

7800n test:
Superhub (modem mode, port 1) -> (EWAN port) 7800n (port 1) -> (gigabit port) PC

Same results with my PC and laptop.

Strange. Hopefully somebody with more knowledge of these routers will post in here, or you could try to contact Billion directly.

I'm presuming you bought the Billion due to the SuperHub's crap wireless abilities? What's the wireless throughput like?

I had the 7800n as I knew I was eventually going to switch from ADSL to Cable and wanted a great router for both.

Yeah the superhub has many issues, it's unstable when not in modem mode and has a lot of devices/traffic going through it, wireless is 5-15Mb on N class gear, and it cannot handle 2 360's on XBL at the same time with open NATs.

I don't really know what to say now...
Have you tried making the SuperHub the router again, disabling the wireless on it. Then, connect an ethernet cable from one of the SuperHub's LAN ports to the Billion's LAN ports, and then disabling DHCP on the Billion. Essentially, doing what people did before Virgin enabled you to put the SuperHub in modem only mode.

SuperHub (Modem, Routing, DHCP etc) ---> Billion (Wireless, basically a switch + WAP) --> Computer?

Yes, that's how I currently have it set up.

That only helps the wireless issue and not the other problems as my 7800n is effectively an expensive switch/AP!

Oh, I thought you had it setup like:
SuperHub (Modem Only) ---> Billion (Routing, DHCP, Wireless) ---> Computer

In your first post, you said you had your SuperHub in modem mode, which would suggest to me that all of the routing features and DHCP would be disabled on the SuperHub, and the Billion would take care of them instead.

EDIT:
I see you've edited your last post as well :P I was just suggesting it as I'm running out of solutions, and yes, it would be an expensive switch + AP.

That's howi want it set up. I currently have it set up so the super hub deals with dhcp but it's far from ideal.
