Sony Movie Studio, but I only chose that as a vlogger I follow used it.

I think I'll make a VLogging thread as there's lots of interest and all the other threads seem pretty old.

awsome thank you,
do it :) !
i just created my new channel and my first video

I've just gone from a Shoei Qwest to a Shoei GT Air, it's much quieter if a bit over budget. The trick is the neck seal on it, it's so tight that for the first few days it felt like it was cutting of blood but then after it broke in it's all day comfy. Still need to wear earplugs for faster or longer rides.

The other thing I noticed was that the helmet speakers work way better in the GT Air than the qwest, they are from a sena smh10. Means you can wear normal earplugs and still listen to music.

GT Air has been recommended to me by the family of bikers I ride with too.

I have no real budget but thought I'd apply a sensible limit. Here's a list I'm going to try if they have them in stock, and they're all pretty much above my "budget":

Schuberth S2
Schuberth C3
Schuberth C3 Pro
Shoei GT Air
HJC RPHA Max

I've had the Schuberth S2, it wasn't quiet.
I've now got the Shoei GT air, it's not particularly quiet either.
My mate sat about 10ft away from me has the RPHA and it's not all that quiet either.

Moral of the story. Motorcycle helmets aren't all that quiet regardless of what the manufacturers tell you, there's too many variables to take into account. Earplugs are the answer.

I think this is quite difficult to advise on, we all have different shaped heads so one helmet may be quieter for you than it would be for me. I generally find HJC good for me, my head is quite oval looking from the top down :D

Fair point.

I'll just get something in the £150-250 range that fits well, with a chin curtain and seals around the neck nicely. That way even if it isn't amazing it will fit well and won't have cost too much.

So, how about brands to consider in that range? HJC/AGV/Shark
