It gets better , its kind of Succession but with militias and wild west justice.

The first episode is a steady build to a key event during the final 10 minutes that sets a number of things in motion.

wasn't completely sold on the latest episode, still great but seemed to be more mid season filler than anything, thats not a criticism as its setting some foreshadowing for later episodes. The craving to watch it weekly vs wait for the whole lot to be released is still very much there!

just finished s4 myself, shame s5 is yet to be confirmed but tbh what made it good lessened in the later seasons, bit of a rinse and repeat. Something to fill the week up with.

Anyone else find watching this with Subtitles is a must? Half the stuff they say, particularly the old ones is unintelligible. Pop on the subtitles and it all makes much more sense.

I have no problem hearing what any of the characters are saying, seems clear as day in terms of language. Interesting though, out of curiosity those who need the subtitles, are you native speakers of multiple languages in general or only speak English?

i dont get how its hard to even understand. its often short blunt sentances. the last episode was amazing.

I thought the first five episodes of this were excellent but the second half of the series just went downhill. I continued watching it to the end but I was glad when it finished, it just seemed to drag.

I feel like I watched this before.

was good until it turned into a romance series for womens, about half way in
ended pretty well though at least.

I started to watch deadwood and IDK why people think it's so good. hell on high wheels was better :S

Maybe it's just because Deadwood doesn't really have any sense of adventure, it's like neighbours or eastenders in a western setting.

i have watched the first 2 episodes, thought it was ok, but im finding the daughters narration a bit annoying.

gave up after 5 episodes. wanted to like it but just couldnt enjoy a western being told from a female perspective. not a patch on Yellowstone.
