Its only recently its been faster than DX9, I mean if you look around the web at various sauces you'll see a lot of DX10 games are slower.

That link is awful, complete PR hype with no actual figures presented.
It's also amusing that the interviewer naturally assumed there would be a hit with DX10, because that's how it's been so far...
Remember, Dx10 promised us improved visuals & speed, not one or the other ...I've seen very little of one and none of the other up to now.

Well I had a massively overclocked x1900xt 512mb, and my stock 3850pro absolutely slaughtered it in everything.
Considering two 3850pros are occasionally beaten by single 8800GTX ...simple logic says two x1900s must be waaay behind.
However, I agree that you should just wait for the 4x series.
