Router is now making it impossible for me to connect to my default page all lights are on that should be still , and i can connect straight to the net using my old speedtouch but the router wont even allow me on the default router setup page any ideas? just connection timed out thanks in advance.

Have you tried powering off the router ? failing that, Reset button on the back.

Probably not this but I have a router at home and at Uni and they both behave very strange with IE7, one won't let me log in and the other one times out when I click buttons on the router page. Firefox solves any problems though.

Have you set up a proxy in tools > internet options > conections tab > lan settings? if so take it off.

Is this the first time you setting up the router?

If it is make sure you plug the yellow Ethernet cable in the back of the router and the back of your pc and that should allow you to log onto Belkins setup page. Then all you do is follow the on screen instructions and after you have completed the setup their will be no need for the ethernet cable, unless of course you want to go wired?
