1Gb allowance enough for Android or iPhone usage?

Think am limited to only 500mb per day....:(

Edit: yes i am limited to only 500mb per day and then they reduce my speed..
Subject to a fair-usage policy of 500MB per day. Speeds will be reduced after the limit has been reached.

I have Wifi at home and wifi at work so you'd be lucky if I use 100mB a month when i have a 1Gb contract. if you have wifi available in most of the places you go to then 1Gb will be more than enough.

as everyone said here, depends on your usage. i got a 2gb per month and never exceed it, but I always reach around 1.5/.7 GB
that's installing apps, youtube, lots of browings and social networks.
If you install updates/apps only with a wifi and limit the video/audio streaming, 1GB should be enough

Thanks for all the comments guys. I've gone for an HTC One S on T-Mobile with a really good deal. 100min/unlimited texts/1.5Gb/free wifi/Dropbox 25Gb for £18 a month with free phone. Since I pay for Dropbox at the moment too, I'll be saving £6 a month there, so effectively it's £12 a month to me!

Very chuffed :).

i went over my 50meg a day allowance, just from using whatsapp... dunno how that happen

anyhow gonna move to giffgaff or a decent contract with 1gig-2gig but ill wait till next month for iphone 5 now
