...and another 2.5k by the end of March, but I got my deposit down after visiting Middlehurst's today. Went for the Black Edition which includes the smoked alloys and the interior red trim.
All previous issues I had with the looks went right out of the window when I saw it in the flesh. They have it tucked away in a seperate room, maybe the fact it was so enclosed made it seem bigger, but it's an absolute ****ing monster, proper Japanese muscle and seems nicely proportioned, something that does not really get conveyed in pictures. This car does definitely not photograph well. Only downside was that the car was red. I'll up a photo from today if anybody wants to see it, but it red really doesn't suit it.
Seems to be some confusion about what colour you can have with the black edition, Chris seems to think it's only Ultimate Silver or Black but won't get confirmation until he get's back from Geneva, so I'm considering going for Dark Metal Grey with the smoked alloys as below:
The interior is actually very, very impressive. Everything is solid, leatherwork is lovely and Nissan imho have really set the bar for other Japanese sport cars now. I'll get flamed to hell and back for this, but it's almost Germanic.
No test drive yet, for anybody it seems. He did start it up though and it sounded pretty sedate until he tapped it and then I was reaching for my wallet.
