£1k upgrade

Sone thing to note that on first boot on AM5 it can take up to 15mins for anything to show on screen and may reboot a few times this is because the motherboard is training the memory so be patient.

Enjoy and let's us know how you get on.

Made the effort to build it yesterday . Not much time to test, but all seems to be running well.

Temps on cpu seem to ramp up and down (50-75) unless I have the aio fans running mid speed or higher, so I'll need to check that. It's an old corsair h115i 280mm that seemed to be fine with the old cpu. Perhaps dodgy paste application

Make sure the memory is running at the correct speed by enabling expo in the bios.

Enjoy

Enabled EXPO in BIOS and temps not ramping up/down - no idea if that's connected :) Thanks

Will run a few benchmark tests to see if it's performing near the expected level at the weekend.

I did have a few "god i'm an idiot" moments during the build e.g. swearing about fitting the bloody tiny front panel connectors (HDD LED etc), then finding the 'easyconnect cable' in the motherboard box...... I'm sure I'll have a few more "what are these left over bits" moments....:)

Thanks again everyone
