There are no 'concrete' screenshots of Deneb being benched, because it's still under NDA.
That shouldn't stop people discussing rumours/potential regarding the new chips though, it's what happens before every CPU launch, but they certainly shouldn't have to listen to Intel fanboys rubbishing everything posted.
I want to build an AMD based system in the next year or two, so if this is better (current Phenom no match for Core 2, whatever some AMD fanboys say: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CP-250-IN&tool=3 - I mean comparing a Q8200 to a high clocked phenom!) or the same benchmarks as a Core I7 at what is probably a cheaper price = an AMD win! What are the prices for the AMD Denab going to be?
So any person who owns both an intel Quad & AMD Quad & say that the Quad AMD was faster than the intel at a given clock speed on a given benchmark is lieing because you have both your self & did the same tests.?
No, anyone who uses the lower priced, odd Quad (said often in this forum) Q8200 with less cache and then says that Intel are rubbish are idiotic. He may be right about THAT cpu (Q8200), but the way he words his review about all Intel's being inferior compared to current AMD (not Denab I might add, I dunno there yet) is what is wrong.
So anyone know if there are going to be some nice new AM2 boards comming out for deneb? I have been having a look around and cant seem to find anything thats "high end"
He does not say ALL Intels he is clearly on about that Intel & what has that got todo with this thread in the first place.
That wasn't the main point in my original post anyway, which was why it was in brackets (reread it if you like). Why did you insist on jumping on it? The main part of the post was saying I was interested in seeing the benchmarks and do we have any final prices for the Denab yet?
Don't bother posting it in the first place & there would be noting to jump on.
Fine, sorry if it offended/annoyed you, I don't want to start a flaming thread here. I'm gonna say no more about it.
Yes, but given how AMD was in the lead regarding power usage before hand, I'm not sure all this puts Intel ahead of AMD on that, especially since I'm sure AMD have some nifty tricks up their sleeve too.
Guys, new benchmarks just in!
Sorry I couldn't get any screenshots but I was just making it up in Paint, but rest assured it's 100% true!

That's like 1.21 jiggawatts faster!
Why does anyone feel any need to rubbish these before they are out or am i missing something. However they turn out and so far it looks good it will be a plus for us customers as it will reintrooduce some competition keep prices in check and stop them going silly which all benefits us. I have not long upgraded to an intel system my first for many years but i would like there to be a good competing amd on the scene for my future upgrades. I really don't get this criticism some people put forward about something like this seems totally stupid to me.
