Hello people this is my 1st post and going to be my 1st go at building a gaming pc, i have around £700 to play with for the tower

Is the spec below gonna be any good for gaming or do you ppl in the know think i should change any of the following parts:

Not sure about this, The 260 is quite old now, I would have gone with a 4890 at that prioce.

I'd dump the eco green, it's dog slow.
WD Caviar Black, Samsung F3, Hitachi would be better choices.
 
You may as well buy the bundle parts separately and save £20. The multiplier is unlocked on 550 so OC to 3.6 is very simple. Mine runs at 3.5 without any increase in voltage, using stock cooler..

Will change the hard drive and get the bundle parts seperate. is the 4890 best card for the under £150 price range.

Wont i need the Blu Ray drive if i want to watch Blu Rays on the pc?

You will need a Blu-ray drive if you want to watch Blu-ray's on it, but buying one right now is so expensive it's not really worth it.

Having a stack of Blu-Ray films is somewhat pointless if he can't play them...

Assuming of course he has any BR films at all and doesn't have any other means of playing them :)
