Ive read the beginners guide, but am still quite confused about some things.

I have:

A8N-SLI Premium
Athlon 64 3500CPU
2GB DDR PC3200 200Mhz
Zalman flower heatsink
Windows Vista os

I increased the CPU frequency to 225, and used a multiplier of 11, I left the voltage to Auto. According to CPUZ my core speed is now 2475Mhz. I ran Speedfan, which reports the CPU temp to be 28C, which Im assuming is ok.

I am unsure if these settings are adviseable, so far Ive not had lockups or anything.

As for memory, this is mainly what I do not understand, as I am not sure what (if anything) I need to change.

I feel as though if someone could initially guide me through this, Id have a much better understanding as I found I have read so many posts and threads on this as to of confused myself as to the basics!

First of all mate your Hypertransport looks way too low, change it from 3x to 4x in your bios.

Get Prime95 to do some stability/temp testing as it explains in the beginners guide. I would also suggest manually setting the Vcore in bios. Set it at 1.37v to start with.

Chris.
