1st PC for friends Son

Hi Everyone,

Not the best time to be buying a PC but my friends Son has asked for one for Christmas. I have been tasked with helping as I put a PC together along time ago! (haven’t been on the PC scene for a few years).
He has put a list together which I will put below.
The budget I’ve been told is maximum £1500 but they’d like to spend less obviously.
He currently has a monitor, keyboard and mouse that he uses on his Xbox. (I am not sure what Res his monitor is but I can try to find out). Games wise, he plays Roblox, fifa etc but does want GTA6 when it comes out on PC…
He wants it white which will probably come with a white premium. Maybe have a list with White in mind and non-white?

They are looking to buy everything around black friday to see if we can get any deals.

EDIT - The monitor he has a Philips 34M2C35 Which looks like its 1440.

regardless some of the parts like the ssd, you'd never find at that price anymore, so, there's that.

ocuk spec, and incidentally a better spec too
(the cpu is oos at ocuk, so buy it elsewhere)

I've used them - cheap, cheerful and also definitely much better than the stock cooler lol
I would put them in any build (bar the top-range) without hesitation

1440p definitely. it's got a much faster gpu than the 5060ti in your original spec, and 12gb vram rather than 8gb too

not for this performance at this price point, unfortunately. just tell the kid that the black cables and the black gpu accentuates the whites
