1TB 2.5" portable USB 3.0 (USB powered) options

Looking at getting something like this and there seems to be quite a choice around the £50 mark. What does anyone recommend based on speed & reliability/warranty. Or maybe there's a recent group test I haven't come across?.

I quite like the Samsung M3 1TB. I picked one up a few months back for £45.

I have a Buffalo Ministation 3.0 which does me well. It's fairly speedy and only set me back around £45 about a year ago.

WD Passports are probably best, but tbh it's a complete lottery. I got whichever was cheapest at the time - Toshiba Stor.E Basics I believe.

Ones worth noting are WD passport for Mac, they have metal casing instead of plastic.

The WD passports feel a lot more "solid" than the M3s, having gone from an M3 to a passport I can say I prefer the passport
